The Atlanta Hawks will be on the clock with the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

In other years, that would be great news for the organization.

This time, however, the excitement about this draft class is fairly limited.

Even so, there are a couple of players who might end up being quite solid, with Zaccharie Risacher being one of them.

With that in mind, the Hawks have hosted him for a private workout, according to a report by Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports.

The Hawks conducted a private workout yesterday with Zaccharie Risacher, per @DraftExpress.

Risacher will also visit the Spurs and Wizards before the draft.

Risacher, who had been projected to be the No. 2 pick for most of the draft process, has now overcome fellow Frenchman Alexandre Sarr in most sportsbooks.

The Hawks reportedly still haven’t been able to workout Sarr, which is unorthodox and strange with the NBA Draft just around the corner, and that might mean that Sarr has no interest whatsoever in playing for them.

Risacher has a high upside as a 3-and-D wing.

He can score from all three levels and could play both forward spots and even some shooting guard.

Nonetheless, he’s not particularly athletic or strong, and that could lead to some serious struggles at the next level on both ends of the floor.

Risacher would still be a lottery pick in any other NBA Draft class, but certainly not a top-5 selection more often than not.

Still, given enough time and patience to develop his game and bulk up, he could still develop into a player similar to Orlando Magic star Franz Wagner.
