The Los Angeles Clippers are coming off a disappointing end to their season, with the team limping into the NBA playoffs and ending their postseason campaign with superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George watching from the bench in street clothes.

The Clippers will have their hands full during this NBA offseason to figure out how to right the ship and compete in a Western Conference that seems only to be getting better.

One problem the team must address at some point this summer is how to improve the team’s depth and what to do with veteran Marcus Morris, who is upset about his role on the Clippers moving forward.

According to Andrew Greif of the LA Times, Morris has let it be known that he’s unhappy with what’s going on in Los Angeles via NBA Central.

With the team set to move into their new arena in 2024, the Clippers brass will want to put together the best roster possible to compete right away and have a winning team heading into the Intuit Dome.

That said, Los Angeles could try to make some bold moves to address their issues on the roster, with owner Steve Ballmer not all that concerned about how much things cost, as he has some incredibly deep pockets and has proven he doesn’t mind spending the money.

As for Morris, the Clippers could try to move him ahead of the NBA Draft this week or before or during free agency next month, as his expiring deal might be something teams in the league will jump at the opportunity to take on.
