With the Los Angeles Clippers reportedly fielding calls for Paul George, it wouldn’t be crazy to see him getting moved at some point during the NBA Draft.
Despite his recent past with injuries, George is still one of the prime players in this league, and he should have no shortage of suitors.
With that in mind, Ian Begley (via NBACentral) reports that the New York Knicks have already had some exploratory talks with the Clippers about the prospect of trading for George.

The Knicks have been in the market for a bonafide superstar for quite a while now, often striking out when they swing for the fences.
And one might argue that this isn’t the best time to trade for George, given his age and history of injuries.
However, the Knicks might not have another shot to land a player of his caliber for a long time, and they have more than enough assets to get it done.
George isn’t damaged goods by any means.
He almost led the Clippers to the NBA Finals when Kawhi Leonard fell with yet another injury just a couple of seasons ago.
He couldn’t be on the floor at the end of last season with a knee injury, but he’s expected to be fully healthy for the start of next season.
That’s likely why the Clippers know it’s time to move him, as they’ll get a much better value in return than for Kawhi, who’s rarely healthy.
Trading for George comes with some risk, but the upside is more than remarkable as well.
