HBO’s Hard Knocks is entertaining offseason entertainment for NFL fans, as it gives fans a peak behind the scenes of training camps and how things come together ahead of the regular season.
However, NFL teams aren’t thrilled about being on the popular show, as it can prove tough to deal with and difficult on players trying to make the cut or veterans wanting to be left alone or out of the spotlight.
The Chicago Bears, who recently traded the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers, are eligible to be on the HBO series this year but appear to want no part of it.

Only four teams in the league can be forced by the NFL to appear on the show this year, with the Bears being one of the four, along with the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Washington Commanders.
All four teams have exciting storylines heading into the 2023 campaign, with Chicago possibly being the least interesting.
The Saints have a new star quarterback in Derek Carr, which makes New Orleans intriguing.
The Jets are on the verge of trading for superstar Aaron Rodgers, which likely puts New York atop this short list of teams, as it will be a media frenzy once the deal is done.
Washington is intriguing due to everything that has happened in the front office over the past couple of years and the team potentially being sold soon.
As for the Bears, the focus would be on quarterback Justin Fields, who had a breakout year last season and could be a quarterback on the rise in the NFL.
