The Golden State Warriors will be working hard this summer to turn themselves back into Finals contenders.
After a very bumpy season that ultimately ended with them being pushed out in the Western Conference semifinals, the Warriors have some changes to make.
Could the loss of Jonathan Kuminga be one of them?
According to ESPN insider Jonathan Givony, via warriorsworld on Twitter, the Warriors are “exploring the option of acquiring a high draft pick” in exchange for Kuminga.

This comes hot on the heels of losing general manager Bob Myers and in the midst of what could be an era of change for the team.
Stephen Curry is growing older, Klay Thompson is about to enter the final year of his contract, and Draymond Green has a player option that he has to decide on later this month.
There are other various questions swirling around the team regarding Jordan Poole and even head coach Steve Kerr.
The team’s front office wants to bolster the roster and put them in a much better position for the new season.
But it’s not clear which path they will take to make that happen.
During the latest season, Kuminga averaged 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
That is a slight improvement from the year before and promises he will have some trade value on the market.
How high of a draft pick could Golden State acquire in return for Kuminga?
If they do get that coveted draft pick, what sort of player would they try to sign?
The draft is quickly approaching so the Warriors will need to make up their minds about Kuminga soon.
