2 Key Bills Starters Will Miss First Preseason Game

The NFL’s preseason games have begun, a sign that the regular season is just around the corner.

While some fans might be bored by the thought of preseason games, this is a chance for some players to earn a roster spot.

Many teams decide to rest the bulk of their starters, while others elect to give their starters some action.

Via the team’s official page, the Buffalo Bills have announced that neither Josh Allen nor Stefon Diggs will participate.

This news doesn’t exactly come as a surprise, given Diggs’ and Allen’s status.

The Bills don’t want to risk injuries to their top offensive options, especially not in a preseason game.

It’ll be up to Kyle Allen and Matt Barkley to start this game, as they are Allen’s two backups.

With the news of Allen and Diggs sitting this one out, the two will continue working on their chemistry.

Diggs was reportedly disgruntled with the organization during the offseason.

It appears that he’s ready for action, and with less than a month to go until the regular season, this couldn’t come at a better time.

Can the Bills finally get over the hump this season, finding their way into the Super Bowl for the first time under Allen?
