The University of Michigan is coming off a National Championship.
Due to the team’s success, additional scouts and NFL executives are slated to attend their Pro Day, hoping to get another glimpse at the reigning champs.
The most significant player on the docket for this Pro Day is J.J. McCarthy, whose draft stock has risen immensely over the past several weeks.
McCarthy is one of several highly touted quarterbacks in the class, and if recent reports are any indication, he could be selected within the top 10, if not sooner.
Albert Breer recently highlighted that members of the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings coaching staffs will take a special interest in McCarthy throughout the event.
Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown and QBs coach Shea Tierney, and Vikings QBs coach Josh McCown and assistant QBs coach Grant Udinski are among those set to be at Michigan QB JJ McCarthy’s Pro Day in Ann Arbor this morning, per sources.

Breer reported that Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown and quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney will be in attendance.
The Vikings will send two representatives to scout McCarthy, including new quarterback coaches Josh McCown and Grant Udinski.
The Giants and Vikings are in the market for quarterbacks, but for different reasons.
Daniel Jones hasn’t panned out as the Giants anticipated, but he is still under contract and on their roster.
The Vikings currently have only backups on the roster and could use the draft to help them find their franchise star.
Fans will be interested to see how this all plays out, especially if McCarthy excels at his Pro Day.
This year’s draft is said to have several marquee quarterbacks in the class, and if McCarthy turns out as expected, he could end up being one of the best of the bunch.
