The NBA offseason is well underway for all but three teams in the league, as the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves continue to battle it out for a chance to advance to the NBA Finals to face the Boston Celtics.

With the majority of the teams in the NBA already in offseason mode, there’s been a lot of talk about what notable players around the league could be on the move this summer, with most teams making an effort to keep up with the Mavericks, Timberwolves and Celtics.

Although all eyes are currently on the big-name players that might get moved this summer, like Trae Young and Donovan Mitchell, there are a few others that could make an impact on a title-contending team and fill a void.

According to Evan Sidery of Forbes, veteran center and journeyman Andre Drummond will hit NBA free agency late next month and will have a few notable suitors with title-contending aspirations.

Andre Drummond is expected to have a robust market in free agency from contending teams.

The Sixers and Suns chased Drummond at February’s deadline, and they likely will once more along with others.

The Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers are two teams that could be very aggressive in their efforts to bolster their roster this summer, with Kevin Durant and company needing a big like Drummond to help combat the likes of Nikola Jokic and the 76ers getting some help and insurance of the often-injured Joel Embiid.

Although Drummond is no longer the dominant force he once was when he was with the Detroit Pistons, he can still record double-doubles on a nightly basis and would be a welcome addition to Phoenix or Philadelphia’s squad and perhaps a missing piece to the championship puzzle.
