It is rare in today’s NBA for a player to stay on the same team throughout their career.

Whether it’s due to a money issue, on-court inconsistencies, or a myriad of other reasons, players seem to be on the move more now than they have throughout history.

Even players that seem to have a great thing going with a particular franchise can find themself on a new team.

Tobias Harris is one example of this newfound phenomenon.

Harris started his NBA journey with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he showed some promise.

Despite some solid performances, Harris was shipped off to the Orlando Magic for a few years, spent some time with the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers, and has been a member of the Philadelphia 76ers for nearly six years.

Harris has become a crowd favorite in Philadelphia, but it might be time for him to head to a new team if recent reports are any indication.

According to Shams Charania via NBA Central on Twitter, the Detroit Pistons and Utah Jazz are both interested in adding Harris to their teams ahead of the 2024-2025 season.

Harris has familiarity with the Pistons, although, they look significantly different than they did when he first played with them.

The Jazz would be a new endeavor for him, and while they haven’t made a significant playoff run in a few years, there’s always a chance that he could be the catalyst for change within the organization.

Are the 76ers willing to part with the veteran big man?
