The NFL has lost one of the most successful defensive backs of the past decade.
Two-time Super Bowl champion Logan Ryan has officially decided to call it a career.
The defensive back took to social media on Tuesday morning to share a clip of some of the highest points of his career, thanking every single organization he was a part of and claiming that there’s still more in store for him.
Thank you to all my family, friends and teammates for the guidance and support!
Thanks to the fans for watching!
Won 2 Super Bowls and got out happy and healthy to be the best father for my children!
Thanks again for 11 seasons! Cheers to what’s next #LogOut pic.twitter.com/KQhIqA43TD

Following 11 seasons in the game, Ryan called his career a “beautiful journey of highs and lows.”
A third-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, he began his career playing for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, helping him win two rings.
He later joined the Tennessee Titans as a free agent in 2017, getting back at his former teammate, Tom Brady, by recording a pick-six to help the Titans get a playoff win over the Patriots.
Ryan then played for the New York Giants before reuniting with Brady and Rob Gronkowski on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He capped off a great career by helping the San Francisco 49ers get back to the Super Bowl last season, although they obviously couldn’t finish the job.
A star out of Rutgers, the 33-year-old played 154 regular-season games and 19 playoff games.
He’ll walk away from the game with 861 tackles, 14 sacks, 17 forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and 21 interceptions during that span, becoming a fan favorite in every stop he made in the league.
Now, it’s time to get some well-deserved rest.
