The 2024 campaign will be a make-or-break one for the Miami Dolphins.
They just spent dozens of millions to give Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle huge contract extensions, even making their quarterback the highest-paid player in NFL history for a short period of time.
They have yet to win a playoff game in the Mike McDaniel era, and they have one of the longest postseason win droughts in all of sports.
That’s why they must make sure to keep everybody safe and sound and at their best for the upcoming season.
With that in mind, they’ve decided to err on the side of caution with training camp injuries.
As reported by FinsXtra on Twitter, HC McDaniel revealed that Jordyn Brooks, Jordan Poyer, and Anthony Walker Jr. were sidelined and working through some minor injuries.

He also confirmed that they would be back rather soon, as the ailments weren’t serious at all.
Over the past couple of seasons, the Dolphins have boasted one of the most entertaining offenses in the entire league.
They’ve proven that they can put up points like the best of them, and they boast the most explosive combination of speedsters in the game.
Even so, that hasn’t translated into postseason success, and they’ve struggled with key injuries when it has mattered the most as well.
McDaniel seems to have the full support of his players and the organization, but after the big investment they made, it wouldn’t be shocking to see his seat getting hotter if they don’t get off to a strong start to the season.
