The Atlanta Hawks are reportedly finally ready to embrace a full-throttle rebuild.
Quin Snyder’s arrival didn’t do much to help this ever-struggling franchise, which, once again, alternated big wins with head-scratching losses.
The duo of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray seemed perfect on paper, but it didn’t pan out in reality.
And judging by their body language late in the season, they didn’t seem to be enjoying taking the court together.
With that in mind, the team could reportedly be set to trade all of their young stars.
Notably, a report by Michael Scotto (via Clemente Almanza) states that Clint Capela could also be a name to watch on the trade market, with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies, and New Orleans Pelicans all expected to make a run at him.

The Hawks already have Onyeka Okongwu, who’s ready to take on and embrace a bigger role in the organization.
Capela could be a prime addition for a Thunder team that lacked size and veteran experience in the playoffs, especially with the addition of Alex Caruso.
The Grizzlies will be better next season once Ja Morant and most of their core are back to full strength.
As for the Pelicans, they still need to add a point guard or figure out what to do with Brandon Ingram, but they should also be back in the mix as a playoff-hopeful team.
Capela is very efficient in the pick-and-roll and is a solid rebounder and rim protector, and he will most likely be available at a reasonable price.
