NBA free agency has only been open for a few days, and several moves have already gone down.
Teams are acting quickly to get deals done, hoping to lock up their roster sooner rather than later.
Free agents and other top talents are being pursued hard, as has been the case thus far with Lauri Markkanen.
Markkanen’s name has been brought up a lot during the offseason, mainly because he is a solid player on a struggling Jazz roster.
Several trade destinations have been brought up to this point, but Evan Sidery recently pointed out on Twitter that the Jazz currently have three offers to mull over.
Sidery mentioned the Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Golden State Warriors as the three teams with “significant trade offers on the table to the Jazz.”

While conventional wisdom might indicate that the Jazz will move on from Markkanen, this will be a difficult decision for them to make.
Yes, the team hasn’t exactly been one of the best in the league in recent seasons, but if they can add a few pieces in the next few years, they could easily turn into a playoff team, especially if Markkanen continues to play well.
This will be a situation to monitor over the next several weeks, seeing that all three of these potential suitors could be a great next stop for Markkanen.
The Spurs are looking to keep growing the team around Victor Wembanyama, the Warriors are looking to replace Klay Thompson’s production, and the Kings are seemingly trying to build a young roster that can compete for the foreseeable future.
