The NBA world was shocked and excited the other day when it was revealed that the Houston Rockets are keen on signing Kevin Durant in the future.
They are actively making moves to acquire draft picks to make a future deal happen even though the Phoenix Suns claim they are fully committed to Durant.
But according to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, other teams want Durant too.
He reported that both the Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls have “some level of interest” in Durant.
They might all be interested, but will any of them actually land Durant?
In addition to the Rockets, Dallas and Chicago also have some level of interest in Kevin Durant, I’m hearing.

There is a big difference between having an interest in Durant and actually acquiring him via a trade.
If the Mavericks and Bulls want to join the conversation around Durant, they will have to accumulate a lot in exchange for him.
The Suns say they are sticking with Durant and not moving him.
However, many wonder if they’d change their minds if the right deal was presented to them.
But that deal would be huge and would essentially decimate any team’s draft assets and rosters.
The Rockets are hard at work putting together a package of draft picks and would likely ship off any player the Suns wanted.
What could the Mavericks and Bulls do?
Bulls fans don’t have much faith that their team could put anything together to get Durant.
Chicago’s front office has been dysfunctional lately, including with the recent trade of Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey.
And the Mavericks finally have a roster they like, so would they be willing to mess it up for Durant?
There are many questions about Durant’s future and which teams might acquire him and they are only going to grow.
