The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the most consistently successful teams in the NFL over the past decade.
While it has been difficult for them to break through and win the Super Bowl, they have been great during the regular season, giving themselves a chance to compete in the postseason.
Their defense has been one of the best in the league during the past decade, and while it is what they have become known for, the 49ers’ defense is also starting to click on another level.
Brock Purdy is finding his groove heading into Year 3, and the 49ers have surrounded him with a talented group of skill-position players to help continue to grow this offense.
Despite having a lot of success in recent history, not everyone on this team is pleased with their positioning.
Brandon Aiyuk has been involved in trade rumors over the past several weeks, and now, Kyle Juszcyzk is reportedly frustrated by the 49ers asking him to take a pay cut.
According to Around The NFL, Juszcyzk said, “I’m the best fullback in the league,” seemingly insulted with the 49ers’ offer to pay him less for the upcoming season.
“Honestly, it hurt when John came to me and asked,” Juszczyk said, via NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco.

Juszcyzk has been commonly identified as one of the best fullbacks in the league, but it is a position that is becoming more and more scarce.
It used to be a big part of NFL offenses, but as the league has evolved, teams are relying on their running backs and quarterbacks to handle the bulk of the rushing and blocking work.
How much longer will Juszcyzk have a relevant role on this team?
