He might not be a household name but Davis Bertans has been quietly putting together an impressive NBA career over the last several seasons.
Because of that, he is attractive to one of the most prominent teams in the Eastern Conference.
According to Keith Pompey, via Evan Sidery, the Philadelphia 76ers are “interested” in signing Bertans, who scored 8.8 points and 1.8 rebounds last season for the Charlotte Hornets before he was waived.
The Sixers are interested in signing Davis Bertans, per @PompeyOnSixers (https://t.co/5OzwbQ5SBv).

Bertans has a career average of 7.7 points and 2.4 rebounds with a strong 39.6% three-point percentage.
Since being drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2011, Bertans has played for the San Antonio Spurs, Washington Wizards, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and finally the Hornets.
He couldn’t really show off his skills because he hasn’t remained in one location for very long.
The Sixers are definitely interested in Bertans’ size (he’s six-foot-ten) and his shooting abilities.
They currently have 13 players signed, which means they could possibly add two more.
In all likelihood, they will just sign a 14th star and then leave their last roster spot open.
Will the 14th position go to Bertans?
Philadelphia has been very busy during the summer and has made some impressive and promising improvements.
The biggest has been signing Paul George, of course, but they have also made a lot of improvements aside from him.
Bertans could be their last signing and even though it might not be a blockbuster move, it could really help them out a lot in the upcoming season.
