After dealing with all the drama that surrounded superstar guard James Harden over the summer, the Philadelphia 76ers looked like a team that was headed in the wrong direction to start the 2023-24 NBA regular season.
Fortunately for Philadelphia, after trading Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers, the team started to see a potential superstar emerge in the form of guard Tyrese Maxey, who was exceeding expectations while taking on the role of sidekick to reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid.

Even though it is early in the season and anything can happen over the course of an 82-game regular season, Philadelphia is in a good place and could be a serious threat to win it all in a few months, with Embiid and Maxey leading the way.
