The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that is dealing with quite a bit of drama at the moment, with the franchise still yet to have traded disgruntled superstar guard James Harden.
Even though Harden wants to be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers and has let it be known how upset he is with Daryl Morey, the superstar showed up to training camp for the first time on Wednesday, which was a surprising move, to say the least.
Despite Harden’s arrival stealing all the headlines on Wednesday for the 76ers, one player not named Harden made an interesting comment that took a shot at the team’s former head coach, Doc Rivers.
Danuel House spoke to the media and gave high praise to new head coach Nick Nurse for not doing something that Rivers used to do, according to PHLY Sixers via NBACentral.

“[Doc Rivers] is two guys ball dominant, Nick Nurse is everybody play together, everybody work for each other”

Nurse is clearly going with the team-first approach rather than continuing with Harden and reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid dominating the ball on each and every possession down the floor.
Although the Toronto Raptors have struggled over the last couple of years, Nurse did have a lot of success in Canada, guiding that franchise to its first title, and will look to do the same in Philadelphia with the team that has struggled to get over the hump in the NBA playoffs.
Obviously, the team has to take care of the Harden situation at some point, but that hasn’t stopped Nurse from getting started on molding this team the way he wants it for the upcoming season.
