The New York Knicks absolutely dominated the Houston Rockets on Monday night, beating that team 137-115 at home to a roaring and excited crowd.
Five players for the Knicks scored double-digits in their victory but it was Immanuel Quickley who did the most work.
He had a career-high night, scoring 40 points and 9 assists while going 14-of-17 from the field and 5-of-7 from the three-point line in just 30 minutes.

Not everyone was as supportive of Quickley.
One NBA fan said he’s “not even a top guard in New York” stating that Derrick Rose, Jalen Brunson, Spencer Dinwiddie, Edmond Sumner, and even Ben Simmons are better.

Finally, many people noted that Quickley’s huge game was against the Rockets, one of the worst teams in the league.

All in all, Quickley’s night was one for his record books and put him on the radar of many people, even those who haven’t been following the Knicks this year.
It’s true that it was against the Rockets and it’s also true that it was on a night without Brunson but Quickley’s performance should still be celebrated.
He was already having one of the best seasons of his career with 14.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.3. assists.
Now it looks like things are only getting better.
