The Arizona Cardinals are open to trading superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, but that doesn’t mean they’re willing to let him go at a discount.

The Cardinals know Hopkins’ value as one of the prime offensive playmakers in the National Football League, and as such, they’re looking at a very appealing trade package for his services.

According to the latest reports, the Cardinals want something similar to what the Carolina Panthers got for Christian McCaffrey, which was a second-round pick, a third-round pick, a fourth-round pick, and a fifth-round pick.

Nonetheless, as great a player as Hopkins is, he’s already 30 years old, which is why not many teams will be willing to meet those demands.

Notably, that includes the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills have been tied to a move for the Clemson product for quite a while now.

However, insider Tim Graham recently said that it’s just not going to happen, barring a “significant development.”

Barring a significant development, the Bills are not trading for DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins had recently teased a move to Buffalo, posting an Instagram story with Bob Marley’s Buffalo Soldier in the background.

The sole thought of having him lining up opposite Stefon Diggs and hauling in cannonballs by Josh Allen was a mouth-watering scenario for Bills fans, but that’s not happening, and the fans are heartbroken.

Knew it wasn’t possible. I’m also team first round wideout. If you were going to spend a second, third, and a player for your 1B… use those assets to go get Jaxon Smith-Njigba instead.

“Once again, I don’t view the upcoming season as Super Bowl or bust.” – probably small baller Brandon Beane.

Hopkins missed some games last season with a PED suspension but was as productive and efficient as per usual once he was able to return.

The Cardinals will go through a bit of a rebuild next season, so it’ll be interesting to see if any team is willing to meet their steep asking price for him.
