Last season was a treat, but more excitement is in store for us this year as we move closer to Opening Day.

Thursday is when things officially kick off, and it should be an exciting couple of days as spring training winds down.

They are predicting that the division winners in the American League will be the same as they were last year, with the New York Yankees, Cleveland Guardians, and Houston Astros winning their respective divisions.

The Wild Cards are also expected to stay the same.

Last season, the Wild Cards were the Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, and Tampa Bay Rays.

The same teams that made it to the postseason last year in the National League are all expected to return to October, but with a few exceptions.

The Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals are expected to come out on top in the NL East and the NL Central, respectively, but it’s the San Diego Padres who are favored to win the NL West, which is something they have not accomplished since 2006.

The Wild Cards are expected to be the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies.

Finally, they are predicting a World Series matchup between the Padres and Astros, with San Diego nailing down their first ever World Series title.
