The Denver Broncos are a storied franchise, and one of the most notable in the NFL.

Many older football fans remember their golden days with John Elway as the quarterback and Mike Shanahan as head coach.

Denver won back-to-back Super Bowls win those two in 1997 and 1998.

Shanahan last coached in 2013 and has been eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Yet, he seemingly comes up short year after year.

But one NFL insider thinks Shanahan deserves to be enshrined in Canton.

Albert Breer says that the impact Shanahan had on football should lead to him being in the Hall.

I don’t think it’s a hard case to make.

Shanahan was a head coach in the NFL for 20 seasons.

In those years he had a record of 170-138 which is tied for 14th all-time.

Shanahan has a long list of great coaches that used to work for him.

He has inspired this generation of NFL head coaches.

Even his son, Kyle, is a great head coach for the San Francisco 49ers.

Also, many teams in the league try to model their offense after what Shanahan ran.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has always been a spot where every league member wants to end their career.

It only seems right that Shanahan will end up in Canton at some point.
