For the better part of the last decade, we’ve been used to watching the Golden State Warriors dominate and thrive.
Even when things weren’t going their way, Steve Kerr’s team often crushed their rivals in the second half, up to the point where their stars barely played in fourth quarters at all.
That’s no longer been the case this season.
The Dubs have had their fair share of ups and downs throughout the campaign.
They’ve been dreadful on the road and have looked far from the dominant team they were when they won the NBA championship right now.
However, Stephen Curry still has faith in them, as he knows you can never count them out, regardless of how big of a deficit they’re facing.
Curry praised his team’s resiliency for coming back from a 20-point deficit vs. the New Orleans Pelicans, pointing out their championship DNA and how competitive they’ve been during the dynasty days:
“It’s been that way for a decade, and for us to tap into that. That belief and that killer instinct, three guys standing on this court, myself, Draymond and Klay, we’ve done it.,” Steph said.
“We have a competitive spirit that’s unmatched. And it’s been that way for a decade.”

The Warriors are currently one game above the Minnesota Timberwolves for the sixth seed in the Western Conference.
They want to avoid the Play-in tournament and face off vs. the Sacramento Kings in the first round; that way, they would avoid a long travel in a hypothetical postseason series.
It’s going to be a tough fight in the final five games of the regular season, and you know every other team is always going to give them their best effort as the defending champions.
But the Warriors have shown over and over that they can never be slept on, and this season isn’t the exception to that rule.
