NBA prospect Bronny James, son of LeBron James, participated in Tuesday night’s McDonald’s All-American Game as the top high school seniors in basketball duked it out.
James scored 15 points in the game, including going 5-of-8 from the three-point line.
He showed a lot of skill and potential and got plenty of basketball fans talking about what’s next for the young star.
Skip Bayless had a lot of praise for James on Wednesday morning.
Speaking on Undisputed, he said, “I loved this kid from the start because he comes across as a special young man.”
Bayless noted that James doesn’t let the fact that his father is the biggest basketball player alive get to him.
“He has the ability to rise above the pressure,” he said.

Many people are marveling not only at James’ blossoming skill but also his ability to turn off the noise and avoid the pressure of being King James’ son.
As Bayless noted, James can just focus on the game and not pay attention to all the headlines, speculation, buzz, and criticism that is coming his way.
He will need to keep that up in the months and years ahead.
It is clear that James wants to play basketball in the NBA and it’s very likely that he will get that wish.
But there is no doubt that he will always be compared to his father, no matter how good he ends up being in the Association.
Can he always work through that comparison?
James is currently ranked as the 35th overall pick for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports, and isn’t committed to any college just yet.
His career is just getting started and he is laser-focused and working hard and doing well despite all the pressure of carrying his father’s name.
