Everybody in NFL circles has had something to say about Lamar Jackson’s situation with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Louisville product wants out, yet they refuse to cave to his demands.
Nonetheless, they’ve made it quite clear that they’re more than willing to part ways with him as long as they get several compensatory picks or an interesting trade package in return.
Notably, the New England Patriots have emerged as a potential destination for Jackson, with team owner Robert Kraft revealing that Hip-Hop star Meek Mill texted him to let him know that Jackson wanted to be a Patriot.
Kraft didn’t shut the door on making a run at Jackson, stating that it would eventually be Bill Belichick’s decision.
That’s why former Patriots CB Asante Samuel made sure to give his colleague a piece of advice, urging him not to play for coach Belichick.
Lamar Jackson, my brother trust me you don’t want to play for Belichick

Samuel didn’t elaborate, but he wouldn’t be the first former player who left Foxboro without being a fan of ‘the Patriots way.’
Belichick is known for his tough-love approach, and the organization has never hesitated to pull the plug and get rid of the players when they get too pricey.
Others, like LeSean McCoy, believe Belichick is an overrated coach and a product of Tom Brady, so maybe Samuel has a similar opinion.
Whatever the case, it’s not like Jackson has too many options right now, and it kind of feels like he would blindly take any opportunity to leave the Ravens after months of drama.
