For MLB fans, the day is finally here.

In past seasons, there used to be a game or two on the first day of the new season, then the bulk of the games would be played a day later on the official “Opening Day”.

Now, the league is making sure the meaning of the phrase is as close to reality as possible.

All 30 teams will be in action for the official 2023 Opening Day in MLB.

It doesn’t get much better than that for true, hardcore baseball fans.

The best of all is that there will be games in all time zones.

There will be two games at the 1:05 p.m. ET slot, including the New York Yankees playing against the San Francisco Giants and the Atlanta Braves taking the field against the Washington Nationals.

Then, there will be some hot contests at 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, and 10 p.m. ET.

Some of the best games of the day are the Toronto Blue Jays vs. the St. Louis Cardinals (both legitimate playoff teams with World Series aspirations this season), Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros, the exciting Arizona Diamondbacks against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Cleveland Guardians facing the Seattle Mariners.

We will also get to see Jacob deGrom taking the ball for his new team, the Texas Rangers, and the revamped San Diego Padres clashing with the Colorado Rockies.

The stars are ready.

The snacks are ready; and the couch is surely ready, too.

It will be a baseball day for those who want to experience it.
