The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back on Wednesday night and took down the Chicago Bulls just days after being conquered by them.
During that previous loss, Patrick Beverley of the Bulls mocked LeBron James with a popular “too small” gesture.
On Wednesday night, Lakers start Austin Reaves got his revenge.
After scoring two points over Beverley, Reaves hit back with a “too small” gesture of his own.
Following the game, the promising young star opened up about what he did to his former teammate and it sounds like no hard feelings are coming from Reaves.
“Right time, right situation,” he said.
“It’s just me competing,” Reaves added.

Reaves was obviously feeling good during the game, scoring 19 points and 5 assists while going 7-of-8 from the field.
It was just the latest strong showing from the Arkansas native, who is averaging 12.4 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists a game.
Reaves has come into his own in the 2022-23 season and has become a vital part of the Lakers lineup.
He is more comfortable and more productive too.
A lot of attention revolves around James, Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, and other big names on the Lakers roster.
But if the team wants sustained success, they will need to keep relying on athletes like Reaves.
Players like him make the team well-rounded and able to achieve wins even when James, Davis, and others are sitting or not having a great night.
Reaves knows he is part of the glue that holds the squad together – and he’s happy about that.
In Wednesday night’s press conference, he referred to himself as a “hustle guy” who “plays the right way.”
Many fans feel he is definitely hustling this season and deserves all the praise he gets.
