The Philadelphia 76ers have a 50-26 record and are the third seed in the NBA Eastern Conference right now.
But some people think they are clearly the best team in their conference.
NBA analyst Skip Bayless believes that.
Following Philly’s 116-1108 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, he hopped on Twitter to make his opinion clear: “The Sixers are the best team in the East with the best player in the NBA.”

The best player he is referencing is, of course, Joel Embiid.
The MVP candidate posted a team-high 25 points and 9 rebounds during Wednesday’s win.
For weeks now, Bayless has stated that Embiid should be MVP and that the 76ers have a very good chance not only of winning the East but of winning the NBA Finals as well.
He is not the only person beating that drum.
Right now, most analysts agree that Embiid is in a neck-and-neck race against Nikola Jokic for the league’s MVP trophy.
As for the team, the Sixers truly are poised to have a postseason worth remembering.
However, they have been in strong positions before and never capitalized on them – will they do so this year?
Embiid has been a man on a mission all season with a stunning average of 33.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
He is most likely going to be the NBA scoring champion yet again because of those epic numbers.
He is performing strongly with his heart set not on the MVP award, but the Larry O’Brien trophy.
Embiid is receiving so much praise from people like Bayless but will he be able to achieve his ultimate goal?
