The Boston Red Sox will start their 2023 journey in the AL East against the Baltimore Orioles.
The game is scheduled for Thursday, at 2:10 pm ET.
The venue?
None other than the traditionally relevant and beautiful Fenway Park.
In fact, the Red Sox, savvy as they are, posted a picture of their stadium at sunrise.
It doesn’t get more attractive than that.

Happy New Year, they say, and for baseball fans, this date is even more meaningful than the actual New Year.
To kick off the year, offseason acquisition and two-time Cy Young award winner Corey Kluber will take the ball against Kyle Gibson.
The Red Sox made several interesting moves in the offseason, bringing in Kluber, Japanese star Masataka Yoshida, closer Kenley Jansen, and other impactful players.
They also extended Rafael Devers.
However, they lost a lot of talent: Xander Bogaerts, Michael Wacha, Nate Eovaldi, and JD Martinez are no longer with the squad.
They will be hard-pressed to avoid last place in the division: the Orioles’ rotation is currently not good, but they have several arms on the way and their core of position players and relievers is excellent.
Baltimore finished fourth last year, relegating the Red Sox to the cellar.
They have Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Anthony Santander, Ryan Mountcastle, Cedric Mullins and other exciting hitters to make things interesting in the East.
Both of these squads could either make the playoffs or completely tank.
Their range of outcomes is very wide.
We will enjoy an attractive matchup between two competitive teams on Thursday.
Fenway Park is ready to host them both.
