The 2022 NFL Season was not exactly what the Denver Broncos were expecting.

After they traded for Russell Wilson, expectations were high within the organization, and the fanbase appeared to be excited about the ensuing season.

However, after an underwhelming on-field performance, paired with a slew of injuries, the Broncos will look to improve during the 2023 season.

Last season, Tim Patrick tore his ACL but appears to be back on track, according to Sean Payton’s latest update.

In this recent article from Kevin Patra of the NFL Network, he outlines what is to come for Patrick and the Broncos.

Patra cites Patrick’s recent podcast appearance, where Patrick noted that he has been running as usual, participating in route running and sprints.

This is great news for Wilson and the Broncos offense as a whole, who struggled in 2022.

If Patrick is fully healthy to begin the 2023 season, Wilson will not only have him as a weapon, but also Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy.

Not to mention, running back Javonte Williams is also coming off of an ACL tear.

If he is able to play to his full capacity, the Broncos should be in much better shape moving forward.

The AFC West should continue to be a tough division in 2023, as the Kansas City Chiefs are not slowing down, and the Los Angeles Chargers are also projected to have a great season.

Will Patrick’s health, combined with Sean Payton’s coaching acumen be enough for the Broncos to make a playoff push this season?
