The Dallas Cowboys finished the 2022 regular season with a 12-5 record.

Unfortunately, they did fall in the Divisional round of the playoffs, losing to the San Francisco 49ers.

Many analysts have identified the Cowboys’ wide receiving group as an area for growth, given their lack of weapons at the position.

Ahead of the NFL Draft, the Cowboys have brought in Zay Flowers for a visit, per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

Flowers is a highly regarded receiving prospect, and his draft stock has risen dramatically as of late.

At the combine, Flowers ran a 4.42 40-yard dash, which was the seventh-fastest time among qualifying participants.

Flowers was a four-year contributor during his time at Boston College.

He broke out during his senior season, racking up 78 receptions for 1,077 yards, along with 12 touchdowns.

Currently, the Cowboys are slated to select 26th overall, which may not be high enough to draft Flowers, if the positivity surrounding him is genuine.

Many draft pundits and analysts have targeted Flowers as a top-three receiving option in this class.

In recent seasons, teams across the league have placed a significant emphasis on the receiver position during the draft.

Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, and Garrett Wilson are just three examples of first-round receivers who made an immediate impact on their respective rosters.

While Flowers doesn’t necessarily profile similarly to any of those three players, he could make a significant impact, especially on the Cowboys.

After CeeDee Lamb, their depth chart at the position gets significantly weaker, and they need at least one more piece on offense.
