The San Francisco 49ers have had a fairly good offseason so far, as they have made some changes to their front seven, which includes the addition of star defensive tackle Javon Hargrave.
They went 13-4 last season, ending the regular season with a 10-game winning streak, and they ran all the way into the NFC Championship Game where they got rolled by the Philadelphia Eagles after losing quarterback Brock Purdy to a torn UCL early in the contest.
But when it comes to next season, San Francisco has the highest over/under in terms of wins among NFC teams, and it is tied with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs for the highest over/under in the entire NFL, according to odds from Caesars Sportsbook.

The Eagles, who narrowly lost the world championship to the Chiefs, look weaker heading into next season, not only because they lost Hargrave but also because of the departure of star running back Miles Sanders.
Meanwhile, the only issue the 49ers may have is the status of Purdy.
He had surgery on his torn UCL a few weeks ago, and he is expected to be able to throw a football again in early June, although many feel he won’t be able to participate in training camp at all.
His situation will give Trey Lance, the team’s original starter in 2022, a chance to show that he has grown.
If he impresses head coach Kyle Shanahan and his staff enough, it could set up an interesting dilemma for Week 1 as far as who will start under center.
