The Baltimore Ravens have been at the forefront of many conversations throughout the 2023 NFL offseason.

Lamar Jackson is still slated to play on the non-exclusive franchise tag, pending a surprising trade.

While Jackson’s future with the team is still undetermined, the Ravens appear to be targeting a free-agent wide receiver.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Ravens have presented Odell Beckham Jr. with a contract.

While the details of this contract with the Ravens are unknown, it has been previously reported that Beckham is looking for at least $15 million per year.

Currently, the Ravens are on the hunt for a new primary receiver, something the team has lacked since the departure of Marquise Brown.

If Beckham was signed, he would not only be another body on the Ravens’ offense but would provide veteran services as well.

Beckham was a part of the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl team but tore his ACL in the title game.

He hasn’t played in the league since that game but has been itching to get back on the field.

Whether he ends up on the Ravens remains to be seen.

Many fans are more concerned about who will be lining up as the Ravens’ quarterback, considering the current Jackson situation.

The current backup quarterback is Tyler Huntley, who has been seen as a serviceable backup.

However, Jackson is certainly the team’s preferred option, but if he sits out due to contract woes, they might have to start Huntley out of pure necessity.
