On Monday, the Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners began a key three-game series at T-Mobile Park.
But prior to the first pitch, two stars got a chance to share a moment.
Last year’s American League Rookie of the Year Julio Rodriguez got a chance to meet up with Mike Trout, a three-time MVP who earned Rookie of the Year honors 10 years prior.
The two met up and shared a hug before the game began.
On Twitter, MLB posted a collage of photos that featured Trout and Rodriguez as they shared their moment and caught up prior to the first pitch of the series opener.

Both Trout and Rodriguez have accomplished a lot in their careers.
Rodriguez is just getting started.
But Trout was once in his shoes.
Trout made his debut late in the 2011 season and ultimately became a superstar in 2012, earning Rookie of the Year honors.
It didn’t take long for the slugger to acclimate himself to the big leagues.
So far, it doesn’t appear as if it’s going to take long for Rodriguez.
But here, we have a nice moment between two stars who make the game more exciting with their home runs and highlight-reel plays in the field.
It’s almost as if it’s a convergence of two eras.
Trout was once the young upstart who was looking to establish himself.
Now several years down the line, he is the veteran and is somebody that many younger players today look up to as they begin their careers.
