The Arizona Diamondbacks – San Diego Padres Monday night game was full of emotions and lead changes.
The teams got to the ninth inning tied at three runs apiece.
The D-Backs took the lead in the top of the ninth and called on Scott McGough to close out a 4-3 game.
The first batter he faced, David Dahl, homered to tie the contest.
It was a brand new game, but not for long.
The next hitter, Ha-Seong Kim, sent a pitch to the seats to give the Padres an impressive walk-off win.

McGough left a 90-mph pitch in the middle-middle part of the zone.
Few pitches with that location survive some really hard contact, and this wasn’t the exception.
Kim’s reaction and the frenzy at Petco Park was amazing to see.
The third-year MLB player is off to a really good start at the plate, with a .385/.429/.769 line, two doubles, and one of the biggest home runs of his career.
He is eager to prove the doubters wrong this year.
Over the course of his short MLB career, he has a rather weak .687 OPS.
This is after dominating the KBO for six consecutive seasons.
The jump in talent from the KBO to the big leagues is considerable, and it shows in Kim’s numbers.
Now that he has had a couple of seasons to get used to MLB pitching, a breakout is a possibility.
In any case, his versatility and style of play will help the Padres even if he fails to develop better skills at the plate.
