The Indianapolis Colts have had a revolving door at the quarterback position for quite a while now.
The NFL is a passer’s league, and no one can seem to win without a solid gunslinger behind center.
The Colts have had to find out about that the hard way, often struggling and failing to make the playoffs because of poor QB play alone.
That’s why NFL analyst Damien Woody believes they should go ahead and make a run at Lamar Jackson.

Per Woody, the Colts aren’t like most QB-needy teams right now as they’re not rebuilding.
The Colts actually have some solid pieces on both sides of the field, so there’s no need to revamp their roster or put together a major overhaul.
Instead, all they need is a capable QB, and there are few guys in the league who can do what Lamar Jackson can do.
The former MVP doesn’t want to be in Baltimore anymore, and he recently revealed that he requested a trade early in March.
The Ravens haven’t engaged in trade talks with any other teams, but Jackson could still technically negotiate with the Colts, as he’s currently under the non-exclusive franchise tag.
Even so, he’s not expected to get the fully-guaranteed deal he’s looking for, as teams are hesitant to pay that much for injury-prone players who put their bodies on the line as often as Jackson does, so he would only join the Colts in an attempt to get away from Maryland right now.
