The NFL offseason has been full of action so far.
We have seen players get traded and many others sign with new teams.
The NFL Draft is a little more than three weeks away, and that seems like a deadline for any trade that might get done.
We are all waiting on the one deal between the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets.
Green Bay is ready to move on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and the Jets are the number one team trying to pursue him.
But, for some reason, the deal has yet to go through.
A while back Rodgers said he wants to play for the Jets and hopes a deal gets done.
Yet, it appears that both teams cannot agree on fair compensation for the four-time MVP.
The Jets have hinged their offseason on the fact that they will land Rodgers.
So, you would think a deal has to get done at some point.
But until both sides agree to trade there is always the chance that it falls through.
If that is the case the San Francisco 49ers should be ready to pounce.
Craig Carton thinks San Francisco would be strongly interested in landing Rodgers.

The uncertainty of the quarterback position in San Francisco could lead to them making this deal.
The 49ers have a championship-level roster, but they cannot find a quarterback that can stay healthy.
Both Trey Lance and Brock Purdy are coming off major injuries and have plenty of question marks with them.
If the Niners were to land Rodgers, they would be the NFC favorites for next season.
Rodgers would thrive in a Kyle Shanahan-led offense.
While Rodgers is still likely to end up on the Jets, watch out for the 49ers lurking if the deal falls through.
