C.J. Cron has found a home with the Colorado Rockies after bouncing around several places during his career.
The Rockies slugger recently earned National League Player of the Week honors after a hot start to the 2023 season.
So far, the 33-year-old is hitting for a .304 average with three home runs, seven RBI, and a 1.143 OPS.
After hitting just .190 in 2020 with the Minnesota Twins, Cron finally flourished in Colorado.
Last season, he hit 29 homers and drove in 102 runs.
On Tuesday, Cron got a chance to talk to MLB Network about how things are going in Colorado and why he enjoys being a member of the Rockies so much.
“They took a chance on me… I feel good here. I love hitting [in] the middle of the order, trying to help the team win.”

Cron expressed his gratitude toward the Rockies for being willing to take a chance on him back in 2021.
He made the big-league club out of spring training and immediately fit into the Rockies lineup.
Cron says he feels good in Colorado and enjoys hitting in the middle of the order and doing his best to help the team win games.
The veteran slugger also talked about a major adjustment he’s made over the course of his career.
Former catcher Alex Avila, who played against him during the early part of his career, asked about when he incorporated his signature leg kick that has seemingly helped him take off.
Cron said that after the 2019 season is when he made the adjustment, and also discussed how he has never been one to take many walks.
He says that he uses his leg kick to help with his timing.
