Before the start of the 2022 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs made the unexpected move to trade superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.
The blockbuster trade with Miami was shocking, to say the least, with Hill and the Chiefs unable to see eye-to-eye on a new contract that would make him the highest-paid player at his position.
Despite losing arguably the best wideout in the NFL, the Chiefs still went on to win the Super Bowl while the Dolphins took another step closer to being a title contender in the AFC.
During the 2023 campaign, the Chiefs will play host to the Dolphins, and Hill has a message for the Kansas City fans that used to adore him.

Most players in any professional sport that get traded or have an ugly divorce with the team that drafted them usually have a chip on their shoulder and can’t wait to face their old team.
Hill is definitely in that category, as he’s itching to get back to Arrowhead Stadium and put on a show in Kansas City in front of the Chiefs faithful.
Despite catching passes from Tua Tagovailoa rather than superstar Patrick Mahomes, Hill’s production didn’t miss a beat in Miami as he was named an All-Pro for the fourth time in his career.
Hill caught a career-high 119 passes in 2022, with 1,710 receiving yards and a grand total of eight touchdowns.
If Hill can continue this production in 2023, the Chiefs defense will be in for a long day trying to contain the superstar wide receiver.
