The Lamar Jackson saga continues, as all 32 teams are one step closer to the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, with no resolution to the ongoing contract dispute between the superstar quarterback and the Baltimore Ravens.

Although Jackson has issued a trade demand, the Ravens are no closer to trading him to another team nor closer to a new deal that would satisfy the young signal-caller.

One of the main reasons Jackson is still in limbo during this process is that he doesn’t have an agent and refuses to get one to handle negotiations in his attempt to get a fully guaranteed contract.

Big-name sports agent Drew Rosehaus recently made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and was asked about the Jackson situation.

Rosenhaus wishes he was Jackson’s agent as he claims he’d be able to get what the one-time NFL MVP desires in contract talks.

“I wish I was the agent for Lamar Jackson because I’m confident I could get a deal worked out for him..

As it has been throughout this entire back-and-forth struggle between the Ravens and Jackson, the contract being fully guaranteed is something the team isn’t willing to do, while Jackson is adamant that it must happen.

At some point, something has to give, with one side willing to bend to get a deal done.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling when that might happen, and a blockbuster trade to send him elsewhere might ultimately need to be done to resolve this issue.

Baltimore likely would like to get something done sooner rather than later as they’ll have a difficult decision to make in the draft to bring in Jackson’s successor or another talented young player to help build around the superstar quarterback.
