There’s been a lot of speculation lately concerning the plans for the immediate future of the New England Patriots, with talk of the team potentially wanting to move on from Mac Jones and potential interest in Lamar Jackson.
It remains to be seen whether the Patriots are ready for a change at quarterback and if acquiring Jackson is a possibility, but the team might know what they want to do in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft.
According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, the Patriots are intrigued by the prospect of drafting running back Bijan Robinson out of the University of Texas.

The Patriots recently lost running back Damien Harris to the division rival Buffalo Bills in NFL free agency.
With Harris now playing in Buffalo, the team needs to address the void in the backfield, and bringing in Robinson wouldn’t be a bad move for the storied NFL franchise.
New England recently signed former New York Jets running back James Robinson, which isn’t a bad successor for Harris, but the Texas back could be a potential game-changer for the run game.
Bijan Robinson is coming off an incredible season in Texas, where he rushed for 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns on 258 carries.
The 21-year-old would be an ideal addition to the backfield in New England, which currently owns the No. 14 overall pick in this month’s draft.
Robinson is arguably the best running back prospect in the draft and may very well be the first player off the board at his position, meaning he could be gone by the time New England is on the clock.
