Over the last three years, Isaac Okoro has become just one of the many great up-and-coming stars playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 6-foot-5 22-year-old is averaging 6.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists a game this season.
Beyond those numbers, Okoro is one of the strongest defenders the team has.
But he has missed four consecutive games with a bone bruise in his left knee.
According to Kelsey Russo of The Athletic, Okoro could play right now if the team really wanted him to.
They will certainly need him soon as the playoffs begin next weekend.

The Cavaliers are the fourth team in the East, which is a testament to just how well they have done this year after acquiring Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz.
Over the last several seasons, the team has been quietly and steadily building a strong roster, including Okoro, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, and others.
Last season, the Cavaliers ended as the ninth seed in the East, which made it clear that they were close to greatness but needed one final piece to achieve it.
That final piece was apparently Mitchell.
For his career, Okoro has an average of 8.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.
His defensive prowess has come in handy for the Cavaliers again and again.
It’ll definitely come in handy next week as they face off against the New York Knicks.
Okoro will likely be tasked with stopping some of the toughest offensive opponents in the conference, including Jalen Brunson, who has been an absolute hero all season long.
Perhaps it is smart that Okoro is taking some time off because he will need to be well-rested for what’s ahead.
