The Baltimore Ravens have found themselves in a tough position this offseason.

But it has all been self-inflicted.

When the Ravens chose to give quarterback Lamar Jackson the non-exclusive franchise tag, they had to know problems would arise.

Jackson is looking for a long-term deal in the neighborhood of what Deshaun Watson received.

But no team has been willing to give Jackson a fully-guaranteed deal.

The former MVP has requested a trade from the Ravens and it appears that their relationship is broken.

Despite the offseason turmoil, former Raven Calais Campbell does not think Jackson is going anywhere.

Campbel said on SiriusXM NFL Radio that he thinks the problem will get resolved.

Great player. Great teammate. Great leader.@CalaisCampbell doesn’t think Lamar Jackson is going anywhere in Baltimore…

Campbell spoke glowingly of Jackson after playing with him for the past three seasons.

He knows that Jackson is a franchise quarterback, and many Ravens players probably feel the same way.

Jackson is only 26 years old and a former league MVP, he still has his whole prime ahead of him.

There is no reason to believe he cannot lead a team to the Super Bowl.

One reason teams are hesitant to pay Jackson is because of his injury history.

He has played in exactly 12 games each of the past two seasons, and that is worrisome.

His dual-threat ability makes him more susceptible to injuries.

But, if any team is looking for a true difference-maker at quarterback, Jackson is their guy.
