The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the most discussed teams during the NFL offseason.
They have yet to establish a long-term contract with Lamar Jackson, which has been cause for controversy across the league.
In a recent press conference, the Ravens’ general manager was asked a question about the team drafting a quarterback, which was promptly shut down by the team’s PR representative.
Dan Patrick spoke out against this act, saying “The reporter has every right to ask that question.”

Jackson is only tied to the Ravens for the 2023 season, given the franchise tag that has been placed on him.
If the team is willing to move on from him in the future, their plan could be to trade up in the draft, taking a top quarterback prospect.
Media members similar to Patrick have been equally critical of the Ravens’ PR team, frustrated that the situation was handled in this manner.
The job of reporters is to ask questions, digging into what both they and other fans are hearing from their sources.
Whether Jackson will continue to play for the Ravens beyond 2023 remains to be seen.
Based on the Ravens’ recent actions, however, many fans and media members believe that they are beginning to look elsewhere at the position.
Last season, the Cincinnati Bengals won the AFC North, and the Ravens made the playoffs as a Wild Card team.
Although they were in the playoff race, the Ravens’ offensive production dropped significantly.
How will this offense look if Jackson isn’t their quarterback moving forward?
