The Phoenix Suns pulled off a special win on Thursday night, taking down the top-seeded Denver Nuggets, 119-115, to earn their seventh win in a row.
It was a very busy night for a few of the biggest stars on the team.
Kevin Durant played for 40 minutes, Devin Booker was on the court for 37, and Chris Paul played for 37 too.
Suns insider Duane Rankin said that head coach Monty Williams wouldn’t comment on the availability of each star for Friday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Did the Lakers just catch a huge break from the Suns?
Monty Williams wouldn’t say if Durant, Booker or Paul will play tomorrow, saying guys could play just the first half at #Lakers. https://t.co/QbDdx9IMKi

Friday night’s game will be the second in back-to-back games, so it’s possible the Suns will rest Durant, Booker, and Paul.
The Suns have clinched their playoff position and will start next weekend’s postseason as the fourth seed in the West.
Even a loss on Friday wouldn’t change that, so why wouldn’t they let their main stars take it easy?
If this does happen, it could be a big deal for the Lakers.
LA is the seventh seed and is fighting to get out of play-in tournament territory.
In order to do that, they will need to win their last two games and also hope the Golden State Warriors lose at least one.
Taking on a Suns team that is missing Durant, Booker, and Paul gives them a much better shot at making that happen.
But the three players in question are highly competitive and if they feel capable of playing, they surely will.
Even without them, the Suns could be a tough team for the Lakers to beat.
Fans of both the Suns and Lakers are now patiently waiting to hear more news from Williams.
