The Miami Heat haven’t had the best season by their standards.
They were supposed to be a top-four or top-five team in the Eastern Conference, but they’ve been fairly inconsistent for most of the campaign.
The Heat haven’t still clinched a spot in the playoffs, and they might as well have to go through the play-in tournament to get that done.
However, Heat star Jimmy Butler couldn’t care less about who they have to face or what they have to do to reach the postseason, as he thinks they can beat any team in the league when they’re at their best:
“I don’t give a damn,” Butler told Yahoo Sports. “I just love playing basketball. We can beat anybody when we’re playing the right way. Play-in, here we come. Playoffs, here we come.”

Butler has already made it clear that he doesn’t care the slightest about the regular season, and he also prefers to take some time off instead of playing in the All-Star Game.
He’s always been all about the playoffs, and he’s the kind of player who often takes his game up a notch when the season is at stake.
So, we expect Butler to go human torch mode on both ends of the floor in the Heat’s final regular-season game and potential play-in matchup to get the intensity ready and going for the playoffs.
Even so, the Heat look like the kind of team that’s still one star away from being a legit threat, and they’re just not on the same level of the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, or even Philadelphia 76ers.
But this team made the NBA Finals just three seasons ago, so it wouldn’t be wise to count them out just yet.
