Travis Kelce Had The Perfect Response To Patrick Mahomes’ Roast

Travis Kelce, the star tight end of the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, may have a great pair of hands, but they seem better suited to catching balls than throwing them.

He was invited to throw the first pitch at the Cleveland Guardians’ home opener against the Seattle Mariners, and that pitch was an embarrassment.

Teammate Patrick Mahomes couldn’t contain his laughter at Kelce’s botched pitch, and Kelce had a funny response.

Lmao aye man… shouldn’t have ate that popcorn

Kelce is a native of Westlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, which likely explains why he was chosen to throw out the first pitch at a Guardians game rather than a Kansas City Royals contest.

All told, he has every reason to hold his head up high and puff out his chest, as he is the NFL’s best tight end, not to mention a two-time world champion.

He had arguably the best season of his career in 2022 by collecting 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns, and he became Kansas City’s top option on offense after star wide receiver Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins last offseason.

In the Super Bowl, he went up against his brother Jason Kelce, who is a Pro Bowl and All-Pro first-team center for the Philadelphia Eagles, which made it the first time two brothers on opposing teams played against each other in the big game.

With wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster now a member of the New England Patriots, there will be even more of a burden on Travis Kelce next season to produce big-time for the Chiefs.
