The Carolina Panthers began the 2023 NFL offseason with a big move, as they traded up for the number one overall pick in the NFL Draft.
2023 will mark the first draft in 12 years that the Panthers have the first-overall pick when they took Cam Newton in 2011.
Now, the Panthers are faced with another franchise-altering decision, as they are looking for their quarterback of the future.
Many fans and analysts have made their predictions for this pick, but with the draft looming, the Panthers are running out of time.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Panthers are hosting Bryce Young on a visit on April 11th.

As Rapoport highlights, Young has been touted as a likely number-one overall pick.
Young won the Heisman Trophy during his time at the University of Alabama and put together an impressive collegiate career.
However, many analysts have called Young’s size into question, wondering if he will be able to succeed in the NFL.
At the combine, Young measured in at 5’10,” and 204 pounds.
Assuming he is taken in the first round, Young will be one of the shortest quarterbacks drafted in NFL history.
How will that translate at the professional level?
By bringing in Young on another visit, the Panthers will be able to ask him additional questions about football knowledge, and what he can do for their team moving forward.
The Panthers have been in search of a franchise quarterback ever since Netwon first left the team.
Will Young be the player to finally fill that role for them?
