Jimmy Butler Has Strong Feelings Ahead Of NBA Playoffs

It’s crazy to think that the Miami Heat were in the NBA Finals just three seasons ago.

Some might think that it had to do with the NBA bubble, while others give them credit for proving the doubters wrong in the postseason.

Whatever the case, it doesn’t feel like the Heat have what it takes to go the distance again this season.

Jimmy Butler is a bonafide playoff performer, and Bam Adebayo is one of the best defenders in the league, but they don’t have a lot of talent outside of those two.

Tyler Herro is a walking bucket, yet he has failed to take a step forward as the superstar guard some thought he’d be.

And Kyle Lowry’s best years are most definitely behind him, as he was even almost traded mid-season.

All that makes people think that the Heat will go home early this season.

However, Butler is completely unbothered by the doubters, and he knows the team doesn’t need validation or pundits choosing them as dark horses to perform at the highest level.

“Ain’t nobody picked us last year. Who cares? Nobody is picking us this year. Still don’t give a damn.”

Butler also claimed that he doesn’t care about the regular season, so we can most definitely expect him to be at his best in the next couple of games or so.

But as good a player as he is, the Heat will now have to get past the Atlanta Hawks to secure a spot in the playoffs, and we don’t love their chances against any of the top-2 Eastern Conference seeds in a seven-game series.
