On Sunday, the San Diego Padres busted out the bats as they scored 10 runs against the Atlanta Braves.
San Diego won by a final of 10-2 and pulled into a first-place tie with the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West.
Included in the fireworks of Sunday night’s win were two home runs by infielder Ha-Seong Kim.
His second homer was a two-run shot out to left field that extended the Padres’ lead to 8-0 in the top of the fifth.
However, it was a weird looking home run, as Kim swung low to get a hold of it.
The ball then bounced off of Eddie Rosario‘s glove and went over the wall.
On Twitter, MLB posted a video of the highlight.

The pitch was clearly a breaking ball, as it clocked in at 76 mph.
It also clearly fooled Kim a bit, as he was almost out in front of it.
The pitch even almost bounced into the dirt.
But that didn’t stop Kim from going after it.
And when he made contact, he sent it out to deep left field and over the wall.
Rosario even made an effort to pull it down and was almost able to do it.
Unfortunately for him, it was just out of his reach and it ended up clearing the wall for a homer.
This may go down as one of the oddest home runs ever hit.
Rarely is a hitter going to be able to swing that low at a pitch out of the strike zone and hit it over the wall.
Kim was able to get it done.
